Would have been there this time if not for scheduling mix up with family when my grandson's school district changed their spring break date, causing it to conflict with Sow Bug. As it turned out, I didn't get to fish at all because of 24 inches plus on the ground at Philmont Scout Ranch. However, the family fellowship was fantastic. Lots of snowmen, snow angels, dominoes, checkers, chess, monopoly, and word games in the warm cabin when we got frozen by playing outside. Got there on the 14th after driving the last 125 miles at 35 mph in heavy snow. The NM Hwy Dept closed I-25 south of Raton, within minutes after we got off and headed west to Cimarron.
