Same here Murf. I've been meaning to buy something from Paul for a few years, but you know how it is. I collect flies like a fiend, and you only have so much bread, which can only go so far, at each and every one of these shows. One day i will get something from him, and it'll be kept under glass. Murf, you MUST get up here for the Clearwater Junction if you possibly can. I REALLY wish you could tye with us. What ARE you doing on June 3rd and 4th???????? mark......

Raphia=Swiss straw!  Now I get it.  I use it to make stonefly carapace (?) with a dubbing needle to make a few folds.  I wet it first to make it more pliable.

Those realistic flys have always intrigued and impressed me, and these are just downright incredible.  I'd NEVER fish one as any I ever got my hands on would be mounted.
