I've heard that there is a bass plug with one of it's color 
combinations named the "Electric Chicken", which is hot pink and 
chartreuse.  That supposedly is how the name "Electric Chicken" 
became attached to this particular Clouser minnow.

It was "invented" by a local guide, Jason Shockey, for smallmouth in 
the White River here in Indiana, but I've caught fish with it from 
Lousiana to Ontario.
