There's a song, I forget the title, where the dad never has time to do things with his son and in later years when he wants to do things together, the son doesn't have time to do things with his dad.

P.S. Bruce didn't say it, but he taught both his sons to tie flies. I met the three of them at Sow Bug last year.

Hey all, Since I hardly ever get to go fishing and got a chance I thought I would give a report. I took both of my boys out to a local farm pond yesterday afternoon since the weather was incredible. They caught six fish between them (all small largemouth bass) which was really good considering Wyatt (five years old) had never held a fly rod and it was a little bit windy. He has a very "unique" casting style but somehow was able to get the fly out thirty feet or so. Brandon did pretty well but needs to slow his casting stroke. Fish were caught on a beaded damsel nymph, Skip Morris Panfish in black, and Wyatt got them with a bright pink Bully's Bluegill Spider. All in all a great time. Bruce Whittle
