Well the show I tied at this past weekend was a bit on the small side. However it gave me time to talk with some of the other tiers and make some connections. Sat. I tied mostly small trout flies and Sunday I tied larger steelhead and cut throat patterns. The high light for me was getting my Skip Morris book (Fly Tying Made Clear and Simple) signed and getting to actually chat with Skip for a few minutes.

Mark Delaney,
You would've liked the crayfish patterns one of the guys was so proud of coming up with, it was craft foam and had barbell eyes at the tail of the pattern. Basicly looked just like yours only with orange foam. I brought yours and showed it to him. He told me to just keep it hidden and not let anyone know : ), he did like it though and as allways we just agreed that there's nothing new in fly tying.

Tight lines
