Keith,

Mark Romero appears to win the contest for most flyboxes.  The most boxes I ever fit into my vest was 20 and dances (Richard Ross) and Byard can attest to that fact.  My kitty litter bucket only has about 40 flyboxes in it now as I took some small cheap ones and turned them into dubbing dispensers by driling holes into each compartment.

Who has the most flys might never be solved as I stopped counting thousands ago.  I threw out many of my early creations but saved many of such by friends.  Most of the commercial ties I had from my early days are either "resting with the fishes", attached to trees and brush, or given away to fellow anglers in times of need.  That leaves a mere few hundred of such if that.

I did have a medium sized box with about 500 midge sized flys in it.  Wish I never took them out of that box and put them into the Wallyworld sorting box tray system as they need sorting in the worst way.
