That's the beauty of this prize.  It is an open-ended invitation and can be used anytime or any season.  The fishing season on many of the prized flyfishing only waters is year round.  Many areas required barbless hooks and are no-kill of course but the tailwaters and certain spring creeks offer good fishing anytime the ice does not prevent the fly from reaching its destination.

Driving there is a breeze.  Just take I35 north to I80 east to PA15 south.  You might take a few small detours in PA (depending on the season) to fish for steelhead in Erie, get off I80 (Jersey Shore, PA exit) to go north and fish the gorgeous Pine Creek and its Heritage tributary (Slate Run), try some bass bugs as you venture south on PA15 along the Suquehanna River, fish Clark's gin-clear hemlock stretch (tailwater), Yellow Breeches' over-stocked Furnace to Playhouse stretch (spring creek), and be at the cabin 30 minutes later for happy hour and dinner.

If flying into Harrisburg or Baltimore, I'll gladly pick you up and we'll be to the cabin in an hour unless we stop to fish the Gunpowder in MD or above streams in PA.

Now, for the rest of you IOFF swappers, there are more cool prizes to come and a big surprise at the end.  I need to decide on some and will do a bit of conferencing with Byard and DonO (BTW, the not so far away Chesapeake Bay has become famous for GREAT striper and blues flyfishing) to make this swap historical and more fun than ever.

keep tyin... a fly every other day and get done early,

Murf
