Rod: I never lived in Vegas, but I did live near St. George, Utah,
which is 2 hours away. There is some very worthy fishing in the
Southwest corner of Utah. The farther north and east you drive into
Utah, there is more excellent fly-fishing to be found. You can also
drive east, through Utah, to the Colorado River below Lake Powell and
Glen Canyon Dam. You need a boat with a motor. The put-in place is
Lee's Ferry. The fishing is 14 miles upstream between Lee's Ferry and
the Dam. Don't drift downstream from Lee's Ferry. That's the Grand
Canyon, and it would chew you and your motor boat into little tiny
pieces. Nevada also has some quality fly-fishing, with a lot of empty
driving in between...........

Just got a job offer with "Southwest Ambulance Service" in Las Vegas,
Nevada... Pays $56,000 to $60,000 a year with full benefits, 401-K and
profit sharing, ( a heck of a lot better than $10.00 an hour with no
beneifis, that I'm making now)... Have to be there on the 22nd for the
interview and testing... So I was wondering if anyone knows what the
fishing is like over there, especially trout?????????
