OK, DonO's being vague about this. I've looked at the picture and it's
indeed a trout/salmonoid of some sort. The problem is that the photo is bad
and somewhat blurry. Info is needed to make an ID from a photo like that. 1)
where was the fish caught? 2) Does the fish have a cutthroat marking? Are
the spots ALL black? Or are there other colors? Do the spots have holo's?
You cannot tell from the photo. It appears that the leading edges of the
fish have a tinge of white? Is this correct? Also what are the sides of the
fish like? Silvery? Any rainbow colors or red? Is the skin fine like a char?
Or a little course like a true trout? A lot of hybrids out there. and some
fish take a biologist to ID and sometimes they even debate the issue IE:
Dolly Varden/Bull trout. OK, DonO lets have some answers. This is fun.
