So many of you on the VFB, FFW and HCFF have been asking about Moon Holler II and when it will be published that I decided the best thing to do was to answer via the  email lists.  I'm about half way through writing it.  Moon Holler II will be a couple hundred pages, about twice the size of Moon Holler - Defeat at the Fork.   I guess I've been suffering from writer's block, but that's not quite true, for I don't have to come up with new tales, so I guess I'm just plain lazy!  My tales are already written in "first person", but the hard part is converting the people in my tales to the Moon Holler characters. Getting the names right and making sure I get the right guy with the right wife takes time. :-P

Right now, I'm planning on finishing Moon Holler II by mid-june and getting it published and ready by mid-August.  My publisher has been bugging me for months now to get it finished.  I'll do Moon Holler II exactly like I did my first book.  I'll order a supply to sign for my fly fishing friends and have them here to mail out when someone wants one.  I already have a list of 35 of you who have requested and are waiting on Moon Holler II.

Anyone caring to have a SNEAK look at one of one of my tales for Book II, can request it OFF LIST.

Cheers!

JIMMY  D

P.S. This ain't a commercial venture.   Most of the income goes to my publisher. :-P   All I wanted out of the book was to share a little fishing and hunting humor with good friends.   I probably made enough off  Moon Holler I  to buy a pair of Simms waders and pay my VFB dues. LOL  Now, with the publisher bugging me for my second book, maybe I can get a larger royalty.
