For trout
CDC and Elk or Wissahickon Midge, as I prefer dry fly fishing. To see
if there are any trout around. I like to run a white streamer or a bait
fish pattern through the water. You'd be surprised how many trout that
raises. Tony's White River Demon is one I use, a White Spey Fleye, or a
Pearl/white Estaz bug. Bait fish patterns, 3 or so inches long, tied with
blended Mirror Image or Fuzzy Fiber.
For bass:
Shenadoah Slider/Sneaky Pete or a Crease Fly on top. Spey
Fleye or bait fish pattern subsurface.
