Hey guys, just sneakin' back "On" for a moment.........Bright Moment
actualy. Got back last night from Missery (Missouri) with the new truck.
Slept all day........then had diner with and will fish tomorrow with, Bud
Frasca who lives in Cortalane (sp?) Idaho and is a T&T rep. and the guy in
charge of vendors for the FFF I.C. each year amoung many other things. He
grew up fishing the Catskills and is here getting back to his roots. He's
become one of my best budds of all the "outwest" folks from the shows there.
He does the show in Idaho Falls as well, and has been a big help with
getting to know all the folks out there.
The Roscoe Gathering/Fish-In starts a week from Mon. and the Clearwater
Junction is that Fri. and Sat. I got the ok from the TGF board of directors
to make sure each of my tyers gets a TGF Pin and window decal to go along
with their Wapsi "goodies bag" and other "stuff." So i'm happy about that.
Still waiting to hear from a couple of you about your attendence.
Stoped by the Cabela store in West Virgina yesterday and got a free travle
bag for filling out a credit card application.
Finaly makin' some headway with our (the Delaware River Foindation) stockin'
program (Brookies i hope) on the upper west Branch of the Delaware (above
the reservoir), and as soon as all the paper work is in, i can get the
Whitlock Virbet boxes ordered from the FFF.
Had a great TGF C.C. meeting the night before i left for Missery, and
everything is lookin' really god for our C.C. Diner on Sat. June 4th. All
our projects are also on track. We also did our annual Project Access
(rebuilding the trails) Sat. May 7th, and our first river clean-up as the
official "Keepers" of the Beaverkill as part of the FFF Adopt-A-Stream
program the next day. We also dedicated and unvailed our official sign at
Carins Pool. You should see the smile on Ted Rogowski face in the pics.
Don't forget the annual day of hoplah etc., is comming for the CFFC&M Sat.
May 28th.
Well, that's all for now. Del, got your emails about the swap. Same for you
Mike. Murf, i still only have 5 flies finished, lol. Looks like i won't have
time for that until after the first week in June. Due date is July 31st?
Hatches on the BeaMoc are not great this year and either is the fishing so
far........flood i expect. the fish are there, but not real active. Weather
has been rather cool so far this spring. We still have no heat in the house
from the flood.........wass a fella to do, lmao. OH! i just thought of
