It wasn't due to breaking strain that I didn't care for it, I just didn't like the overall aesthetics of it. I might of tied it wrong, but it seemed a tad on the bulky side, plus was a bugger for me to tie. Like I said, I think the main thing is that I have used the Surgeons and Blood knots for so long that anything else seems odd. Might give it another go one day.
