Hey, Chris,
  I tie my catskill dries on up-eye hooks, but then I've always been
an "exception to the rule" ;)  I think it is 1x something, not certain
-- Mustad 94842 if I recall correctly... it has been ages since
sitting at the tying table, so I'm itching to tie tonight - and will
verify that for you while I'm there.
