My favorite one is done with the feathers from a golden pheasant instead of a standard one. Here is a link to a few other variations of the Sparrow: Gartside's Sparrow     Notice that these patterns call for a bead. I prefer not to use the bead, keeping the recipe closer to the original one.                                                             Del
