    The Gartside Sparrow is the fly I am talking about. I tie it in a #14 and it is a killer for 'gills. My favorite one is done with the feathers from a golden pheasant instead of a standard one. Here is a link to a few other variations of the Sparrow:
    Notice that these patterns call for a bead. I prefer not to use the bead, keeping the recipe closer to the original one.
