As a kid I lived in IL and used to fish the rivers most nights in the summer
with my Dad. We would consistently catch 20" catfish on Rebel Crayfish
crankbaits and Rooster Tail spinners. Maybe a crayfish or streamer pattern
would work. When a 20" channel cat hits a lure like that it about rips the
rod out of your hands everytime.
