I have a 2wt redington wayfarer and I love it. I have caught up to 20 inch
trout and squaw fish on it. It's 8 ft and a 5 piece rod. Only $140 on eBay
and I mated it to an Orvis Battenkill large arbor reel. I use it more then my
Sage 5wt or my St.Croix 8wt!

Gary,
Surprising there is a call for 1 wt bamboo rods. I just made four of
them, kept one for myself. The others were spoken for.
These were 6' rods. One of the rods landed a 8" chub the first time it
was used.
