Howdy, all. I am looking for information on fishing destinations. I will be driving from Dallas back to California in a couple of weeks and am interested in finding a place (or possibly two) on the way where I could spend a little fishing time. The major requirements are: 1) trout 2a) fairly close to a major highway or interstate (i.e. I don't want to spend several hours going off-route) 2b) 2a can be broken if prospects for #1 are REALLY GOOD...I am open to traveling a LONG route home (not to Montana...but I could see going through southern Colorado).
