Tony I met one of your friends over the weekend in Roscoe, Charlie Barton.  He is a really nice guy.  Since I fish mostly saltwater and stocked ponds I had never casted on a stream before.  Charlie took time away from his fishing to help me with the basics of stream casting.  You can practice all you want but it’s a lot different when you’re actually on the stream so I was working on my roll cast.   The trout just sat on the bottom of the pool laughing at me.  O’well …   I really enjoyed it. I think he may have convinced Peggy and I we need to head for the Sowbug.    He promised to take us fishing again!!   I was already planning on it but I may have a travel partner now.   J I’ll try to post my trip report for Roscoe tonight.  I’m still not fully recovered.
