I agree... That ebook is OK and worth the cost. Another one I found and have used for a while (and like) is 'FlyFree Fly-Pattern Database', Which is a little database you build up yourself. Type in the recipe and load up a picture of the fly (there's also an image box for dubbing color)... and then you won't have to trust your memory. (That's why I like it so much.)
