Thanks Joyce.  I'm going to ask my doctor why he never offered me one.  While the disease has left its mark on me, I can get infected again as can anyone else.  Between fishing and cats in my bed, our family is at risk.

FYI, there is a Lyne disease vaccine available both for animals and people..contact your health department. That's where I got mine, and Josie (beagle) got hers at the vet..bet they were the same stuff though. Joyce
