Ratzz... Recently had an opportunity to sign up for another trip to Loreto. A friend was headed there, had everything booked, and didn't have a partner. So I just had to bite the bullet (after he twisted my arm) and sign up to go with him. The timing is great- 2nd week in Aug.- same week I went last time and got tired of catching dorado. Oh, Well- I'll just have to psyche myself up again :o) .
And... Also booked for a trip to Costa Rica next Jan (2006). Mark Boname, the owner of the local fly shop, went last year with a group he organized and just clobbered the sailfish. So he re-booked it for next year too. This one ain't cheap (like Loreto), but it should be a ton of fun. This one is for the IOFFF'ers (International Order of Fanatic Fly Fishers)- dorado, sailfish, striped marlin, blue marlin, and roosterfish. (And not ONE of these will I attempt to play by hand. <G>) So with this work contract, Somerset, the IFTDS (Int. Fly Tackle Dealer Show-Denver), Loreto, then the Jan. Shows and Costa Rica, and hopefully a trip to Florida (to try a canoe again with Jerry*?), it should be pretty busy for a while. DonO *footnote- Jerry is Jewish, but he's OK- he tipped me big time on the last trip. LOL
