Pete, Likely Lake Messalonskee - birthplace of the tandem streamer fly, co-developed by Dr. J. H. Sanborn and Emile Letrouneau (brother of famed Maine outdoor writer Gene). Can't speak for what would be working now, however, Sanborn & Letourneau created several streamers in that area which, if nothing else, would give historical significance in trying out -- Nine-Three, Queen Bee, Liggett Special, Charlie McCarthy, Sportsmen Say.
