Folks: I just found a jackpot in the back of the closet (well , my better
half did LOL). that I'd totally forgotten. My mother in law passed away on
New Yrs Eve 2001. And she lived in FL and Dream Catchers were a really hot
item then, and she made and sold them... I just found a BIG (bout 12"X12")
bag FULL, of beads, feathers, leather... etc etc.. The feathers are the
Grizzly hackle feathers I think they are called.. , and one bag with about
100 little 1/4" long, football shaped, gold plated beads that would make
great fly heads...And.. I made myself a whip finisher just like the one
Cabelas sells for $8.95 out of a coat hanger, two pieces of tiny lead shot,
and a plastic tube... Got the pic off the website, enlarged it to actual
size, then bent it with needle nosed pliers using the print out as a guide..
Works great... And I figure I can make those hair stackers out of a piece of
1/2" PVC pipe about 1 1/2" long, and capped with a flat cap, then a piece of
3/8" copper tubing, and other sizes if needed... Or, I can take my wood
lathe (another hobby of mine), and turn two piece wooden hair
stackers...(woods I have like Eastern Cedar would be really pretty) Man,
this is getting exciting LOL, Chuck
