Welcome Pete,
How far from Pine Creek are you? My favorite waters are between Blackwell and Watersville, preferably up the runs. You know which ones, I'm sure.
So how did you get kicked off the FAOL? Today I got called psycho by my friend Jimi on this list so maybe I should join it. Anyway, anyone who works with bamboo must be okay...except that Tony Spezio guy. Watch out for him. He's a young whipper-snapper who'll try to get you to tie White River Deamons and flys that come from a can of root beer.
Another guy here is well grounded and goes by names like DonO, Dr. Demento, Veronica...but we like him since he has a multi-year tour pass at Whiting Farms. Skinny little guy who hates fishing salt but maybe there's hope for him yet.
Well, not a soul here ever beat me up too bad and I have even known a few for a while. Heck, one even has a key to my cabin but he doesn't count since he owns this durned list and is never around much since he's been fishing all season.
Good to have you here. (John vouched for you)

Hi,
I am new to the list. I am a bamboo fly rod maker and tyer from North Central Pa just south of Elmira New York. Those of you that were at the Clearwater Junction event that Mark and TGF put on I was the big guy doing the bassbugs and stuff. Most of my fly tying is for small stream trout and warmwater. Looks like a nice group and I look forward to taking part.
Tight lines,
Pete
Please check out our site for for warmwater flies and fine bamboo and graphite rods. All items made with my own hands.
