[VFB] Trip Report

Well, first off let me say hello to Pete. You heard almost everything there is to hear about this list, so I wont add anything cept a "Hi, Howdy, Hello"     Now, I got to the river at 9:00ish, a lil late but at least I was there. A good hatch was on, but of what I never found out. They were big, looked to have wings about the size of a quarter! I KNOW!!!! Now, remember that I was on the bank about 20 feet away from the hatch. The weird part is this.... They were....PURPLE!!! Thats right, PURPLE!! They looked like a smallish purple butterfly to me. Anyway, I dont own any Purple Stimulaters or Purple EHC in that size (or any size in purple as far as that goes) so the hatch was a bust.     I did manage to C&R 6 nice brookies that were all caught on a Black Deep Thing. Mark, I sent you one of these. I had a fair amount of bumps and a few L.D releases as well, before I lost my last B.D.T.     All in all a great day on the river. It will be the last for a while, but it was great. For the next couple of weeks the only fishing I might, I repeat, MIGHT get to do is some 'gill fishing. I dont really mind though, I love to catch them too.                                                                                 Del
