List, In my opinion it was a fun mail to read. The stone throwing guy was wrong and got the lashes he deserved. My girlfriend laughed about it too, and my guess is that this was the reason why Jimi sent it in the first place... to give us something to laugh about.
This mail is NOT pointing to a person, I just want to suggest we leave this issue at rest. 'This is wrong' and 'that is right'... OK, it might be true (or false). But debating it here didn't accomplish much more than bringing irritation in the group that many, like myself, like to call 'family'. Debates within a huge group of people are bound to end with someone taking something personally. A joke, a slight overstatement or a misunderstanding is all it takes to make some mad, and suddenly we are outside of what we want this list to be... friendly. If someone took THIS post personally, I apologize. It was not my intent. If someone thinks I'm wrong in anything I wrote, please correct me. I stand for what I said about these kind of debates though. I have been cause of misunderstandings myself and today I prefer to stay out of them. But maybe this is only me out spinning... /Nick
