Hi VFB,
I've been collecting photos of crickets and cricket patterns to tie up
some new variations of the bug. Crickets have been an effective
July-August bug for the big trout, and I am trying to get a wider
variety of patterns.
While doing the search, I ran across this huge database of collected
bug specimens. Many are from Australia, but most have similar looking
relatives in the U.S.

Really like their collection of cicadas. Lots of good stuff here if
you are looking for a bug's basic shape and identifying features.
