Hi Mike,
Rich Lewis's Predator Mouse is a good pattern. The only place I fished
it was at Sugar Creek Ranch. They work best when there is almost not
enough light to see, the morning in my case. Had one morning when I
caught four rainbows, one about 5#. Another morning, it didn't do
anything... Rich Lewis caught a bow in the 7# range there last August.
The fly is very lightweight and easy to cast, floats well, but as you
can see, quite an involved bit of tying.
