Ginger, the show in Denver is the International Fly Tackle Dealers show, i think it's called. And it's only attended by people who have fly shops, lodges, buyers for sporting goods stores, manufactures, etc., etc., etc.........the general pubolic is not welcome. mark

The new flyshop owner asked me about going to the Denver show in September. That is where I got it from.

Jerry,
It was good to meet you and Don O at the Salt Lake City Show. Hope we
can again at the Denver show in September if I don't have a conflicting
date. There is a good chance I will be at the Somerset show in January. Was in N. J. for the Symposium last year, just could not make it up to
Somerset.
If you keep inflating my head, I will not be able to get my magnifiers
on and will not be able to tie. LOL Tony

I have NOT tied at that show but have tied at several Furimsky shows in

the past. If any of you have not been to a show, I thought I would share with you my memories of the first time I tied at a Major Show.

I do so at the risk at the risk of inflating the heads of a few list members.

will send it in two
parts.

Part The First (from The Salt Lake City show 5-6 years ago)

Listers

WOW !!!!! WHAT AN EXPERIENCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to make the assumption that you are familiar with a trade show and know what it means to walk into a major convention center filled with vendors catering to an industry.

By industry standards I would sat the size of this show was medium. Have been to much larger ( automotive ) and some smaller (banking, insurance) but have never been to one where I went from booth to booth

going WOW.
