[jerry goldsmith] Are you looking for another sit inside to fish from
or a sit-on-top.

if an SIK

a GREAT FISHING YAK is the current designs Pachena DX

http://www.cdkayak.com/

I would fish any shore line and would go 3- 5 miles off shore without
batting an eye. Pretty sure Ken Sigvardson fished one of these. I am
getting the Kestrel 140 and will let you know if it performs as well as the
Pachena.

I do like the flush mounted hatches on the Pachena more than the hurricane
hatches on the kestrel, BUT I think I will like the xtra room in the
Kestrel.

If you are a Perception fan, the think the 2 mid size Carolinas will do
fine.

BUT if you are off shore at all- get a skirt and learn to roll.
People die from yaking all the time.
