Mike is doing a lot better health wise. He's going through another transition now but I think you'll be seeing a lot more of him in the future at the shows. His disposition is improving lately also. ;0) His sense of humor is returning full force. Look out! He's looked very good the last few times I ran into him. Deb
> Yeah Jerry, is that COOL or WHAT? I've taken a class with M. Martineck and > it was a GAS. Cats a major music fan......a real "case." Nobody, and i mean > NOBODY ties a better streamer than Milke. He's truely missed. mark Hi Mark, Well, you find a familiarity in the look/style of my Carrie Stevens/Rangeley style streamers -- Mike is a friend (and mentor). And you're right, in the world of streamers, he's 'The Man.' He is truly a major character, and his first impression persona belies his wealth of knowledge in many areas - WWI & II buff, rock & blues history, hockey, wine... and the guy is a complete stitch in a social setting (his analogies, stories and one liners are to die for). As for his health, he's fine now and was at the Somerset show this year. (on a related note, Don Bastian is also recovering nicely) You may also enjoy this: http://globalflyfisher.com/streamers/guest/martinek2/ Cheers, CD
