There is a block of metal, (electronics block about 1 inch by 1/2" that is connected to the swing arm, that reads the discs.. My guess was that the magnet was in that electronic block.. maybe I can scan a pic and send it to ya and yo ucould tell me.. i hear they have earth magnets that are REAL powerful for their size right???
