Lots of lakes and streams in the region. I would suggest some
hopper/dropper combos.

I will be staying in Pagosa Springs for a week beginning July 22. Wifey has
agreed to let me fish a couple of days as long as I do the tourist stuff
without complaining. Can anyone offer a suggestion as to which stream(s)
would offer some chance of success to a first time visitor. Don't need big
fish, I just want to have a good experience, enjoy the scenery and maybe
catch something. Some suggestions on patterns and sizes would also be
appreciated. Thanks from a long time lurker and half-a**ed flytyer.
