That particular fly is made from two large rubber spider bodies glued
onto a hook using Goop or E6000.  (I'm not fond of cyanoacrylates, aka
super glues).  It is just a slight variation for saltwater of a
Clouserfloating minnow, where the spider bodies are glued together
side to side.  Now I understand the clouser reference...this is one of
Bob's floating patterns...
