ROFL... My son in law is a "die hard" Bass fisherman.... Me, I don't have the patience.... He catches 2-5 on a GOOD day... I can go less than two miles from my front door and catch my creel limit(50 per day) of Bluegill, and some are 10 inches long...and they fight like crazy too... I tell ya what.. I never thought I'd be doing the "catch and release", cause we love fish, but before I took up fly fishing, and just used a Zebco 33 and redworms.. We'd keep the Bigger ones to eat... and it was all we could do to catch enough to have fish every 2-3 weeks.. Now, I could eat em every day iffen I didn't get tired of em, so, now, (until we eat the ones I have in the freezer).. i just shoot the big ones with my camera, and let em go for next time.... Chuck
BTW.. I wish the TV fishing shows would give Bluegills their due on those shows.... But, as advertisers, ya can't make as much money off a cane pole and a cup of worms as ya can an $8-10 Bass Lure ----- Original Message ----- From: "Critter" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, July 15, 2005 12:08 PM Subject: Re: [VFB] Foam Cutters Is it sad that I (being a Largmouth Bass, Pike, & Trout fisherman) is suddenly thinking about setting up a bluegill trip for next summer? -Critter Quoting Chuck Alexander <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Me too, LOL..
