I also tried that Radio Shack clip idea and it did work.. I had some of those clips, but cause they have teeth they would not grab like hackles.. I stretched a little piece of Aquarium pump tubing over em, and it worked OK, Thanks, Cause I only got ONE pair of real hackle pliers, and my two teens like to tie more than me LOL. Or they DO tie more than me anyway...Chuck
