Nick,
I meant to tell you, you might get checked for a blood clot. This
happened to a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago, it was a clot. He
was in the hospital for almost a week and will be on blood thinners for
six months. It is nothing to pass on.

I advice you to, Rodney... and give it enough time to wake up before you put
your body weight on it. There wasn't a muscle responding... it was as stable
as spaghetti. A sleeping foot is more hazardous than you might think. This
was day before yesterday and I'm still limping around like a 90-year old
without his cane.

ROFLMAO... Been there, have had that happen more times than I want to
count... Luckily for me I've never actually fell to the floor...
Come close many times though... Now I have to remind myself to uncross my
legs before they fall off... LOL ...

To make a short story short...
An hour ago: I sat tying for the Mayfly Swap, went to the fridge to
have a glas of water... and forgot the hackle pliers over there. I
went back to the table and sat down tying for a while again... this
time with my leg over the other. Then I needed the hackle pliers again
but they were gone. "Aaaah! They're over by the fridge." My foot had
fallen asleep. When I took the first step a series of sounds shook the
kitchen: "SCRACK!!", when I put the weight on my foot... "BONK!!",
when I hit the floor... and "AAAAAAARGHH!!!!!", when I started to feel
the pain.
This is when you reach the true fly-tying relaxation... when the
painkillers have kicked in.
(And Rodney... I don't want to hear anything about not putting in
effort when you get my flies. I'm going to tie tomorrow, even if Teresa
has to
carry me to the table.) ;o)
