Chuck What do you mean the good ole days? That guy is still making it I bet. We all need our hobbies. ;) I use silk worm gut on my classic flies. I just got a silk gut fly line (don't get excited rod boys it seems to be the heavily coated kind) that I'm trying to find a use for. The gut seems very thick on it.
