Thanks for all the responses, Tomato juice didn't quite do it for the dog. as for the house the smell is gone. I put cydar vinager in bowls around the house and they have absorbed the smell. Skunk smell!!!!!!! This morning at about 3:00 am I herd the dog run across the patio and bark. This was followed very quickly by a very strong and horrible odor! Our bedroom window was wide open and the smell was so bad that my wife and I had to move to the family room to try to sleep. It's now 7:00 pm and the house still smells like skunk. Best guess is that the skunk was up close to the house when it sprayed, the dog didn't take a direct hit but does have a slight odor. What do we do about the house smelling?? all windows are open and fans running, what do we do? anyone out there know?   Thanks   Jim
