DonO~

I do have some photos which I will send you of the fly
and the Marlin. Have to get them burned and head to
my brother's house to send.

The fly was white, lt. blue and dark blue in the
proportions you would expect with some flash in it on
a size 7/0 hook. I went to a shop in Cabo San Lucas
and bought some 8/0, 10/0 and 12/0 which I think would
have been even more successful.

The 2nd Marlin ate a fly I tied on a tandem 7/0 rig
but it was too flimsy. I should have reinforced the
midsection with heavy tape and epoxy or something.
The head was a thread spool hand painted blue and
white with long (12" polar fibre) in white, grey and
dark blue. Not only did he throw it, it was tangled
beyond repair.

The tuna all ate a blue and white concoction on size
3/0 and 4/0.

The only thing I would do different would be to to
size up and use my 14 wt. T & T so I could put the
boots to the fish a little earlier. I just didn't
have the money to spend on another reel before the
trip. Plus getting into a Tuna any bigger than 50
lbs. would be way too much for the 12 wt.

Well, now I gone and done it...I'm really hooked now.
And to think this whole thing came about from the
Crease fly swap. Sure got me outta my rut!
