[VFB] Fishing Report

Folks: I JUST walked in the door, from Fishing (COOKING is more like it)..It was 101 degrees, and the heat index cause the humidity is so high here, was like 114. Then, to make matters worse i only caught two little brim. One gill and one TINY shell cracker.. and they were half COOKED  when I got em in... But, those wooly buggers I tied caught em both, so that made me happy. According to the Almanac, Day before yesterday till Monday are supposed to be the BEST times, right after the full moon, but it is soo dad gum hot, I guess they just ain't hungry..... Weren't for me anyway.. STILL, good to get on the lake, cause a HORRIBLE day fishing ( you know, when ya launch the boat with the plug out, catch EVERY tree in  a 100 mile radius, bring the tea, but forget the bag of ice etc) beats a GREAT day at, say, the doc huh?????
