DonO~ After going through all my gear, I can't belive how strong my Ross Big Game reels held up. The business end of my fly line is so rough and beat up I think I will just toss it.
I brought 2 surf reels, one of which got the crap kicked out of it on a huge Pompano and won't even turn. Guess it burned out the bearings. The most amazing thing, though, was how well the leader held up. I'm so hooked I'm already booked again for next year. Just put down my deposit...
