Joe,

Congratulations!  Welcome to the VFB and thanks for helping keep the list alive!  (I'd opt for the cap your first year, it's excellent quality.  Tough to pick with so many colors though.)

VFB/IOFF CEO Byard; let everyone know Joe stepped in to fill the shoes of another tyer (last minute) for the IOFF swap and I motion that he should be inducted as the 51st member.  He certainly is "fanatic" enough and will have a special prize for coming to the plate so late.

DonO, any issues?  Mike, will you print a certificate for Joe?  (My thank you is coming back with your swap flys Mr. Bliss.)  All in favor?....whoops, Byard just posted about this redundancy.  Never mind.  Anyway, DonO & Byard can make the exec decisions.  I just tie here.

I've only been hanging on the list for about a month, but already I've made
contact with some very knowledgeable and obviously friendly fly fishing nuts
- very much like myself. I have become involved in two fly swaps - one
completed and one within 10 ties of being done - and exchanged information
with several people concerning tying techniques and the joy of sharing our
sport.
I was appalled to hear how few people were supporting members of VFB. What
I have experienced in the past month is well worth the cost of joining even
before I figure in the discount available through Lines End.
I want to let Bryard, Murph and Rodney know that I took care of the paper
work and I am now a paid up member of VFB.
