VFB'erz, I got a Garmin eTrex Legend C GPS for one of my anniversary gifts. I will be using it in the normal ways- travel, fishing, hunting, 4-wheeling, space shuttle missions, etc.
Does anyone have one like this? Should I buy the Topo and city map cd's? Does one CD serve all models in the Garmin series? Looks like it. But after some net research, I found a few mapping CD's. Should I buy new CD's, or look for used ones? Are they dated CD's, for upgrades to roads and stuff? Do they update the data on line once you buy it, like Windows does, for instance?
