Byard, and List,

found the stuff sitting on my desk, when I returned from my trip. Always a pleasure to shop at Line's End....

Among other goods I ordered a Whiting 'Bugger Pack' .

Ok, I know that this are feathers for tying Wooley Bugger, but I have a couple of Questions:

Are this feathers from a particular breed? Or are this feathers from selected birds, which do not fit in the grading schema (barbs too long, barbcount, stiffness) ??

What are the characteristics of the feathers? What are the criteria for the selection?

Some of the smaller feathers look like good dry hackle? Can I use them for this?

I'll ty up some bugger and will see how they come out.

Best
