Ken,
I tie with it and have the book you listed (signed by Lee). I get my yarn
from Lee and love tying with it, especially on larger dry flies.

So nobody uses the macrame yarn to tie with?

It's one of my favorite materials right now. There's a good book by
lee clark with lots of uses called "Fly Tying with Poly Yarn". Skip
Morris uses it quite a bit too.

It also bears remarkable similarities to EP Fibers and Neer Hair...;-)

So anybody who wants to unload poly yarn just shoot me an e-mail! ;-)
