Chuck, OOOPS... here I go again. I didn't mean to offend you in any way. If I did, I apologize. It was NOT my intention. I'd better explain what I meant to say. The fact that it is a double reward was exactly my point. Many have benefitted from your questions and we both know you have asked a few, right? But I didn't mean that in a negative way. You have asked questions that other people have been holding back... and what I meant with the weird ending was: These are the people who worship Chuck and want him to continue!!! (Note that I DON'T say I have a problem with your questions, myself. I have benefitted from them too.) You know me by now and the need I have for incorporate little jokes in my posts. I'm complicated... many say weird, which might be an even more correct term for it. But if you read a post of mine that you find offensive, there is a very big chance that you have misunderstood it. If I or others had, you'd never have sent the post this morning about unsubscribing. First off, this is a fly fishing / fly tying list. You can ask any question about either and one of our 500 + members will give you a good answer to your problem. Sometimes you'll get several different answers, but they'll all work. We on the VFB list learn from each other. Many of us have been members since the list started and as such have forged some great and long lasting friendships. Several of us have been able to meet each other at fly and fishing shows around the country and some have been fortunate enough to fish together. We also love to kid each other. We call it banter. :-P I know that this banter back and forth and seemingly "beating a dead horse" at times with similar posts bothers you, but that is what keeps our list fresh. I belong to two other fly fishing email lists and both are DULL because nothing is allowed except technical talk. We VFB'ers subscribe to the philosophy that "all work and no play makes Jack or Jill a pretty dull person." So, give it a few more days, and above all ASK SOME QUESTIONS, and remember, there is no dumb question. If you don't know the answer, the only way you'll get it is to ask. You said in your original post that you were doing research. I'd like to ask what kind of research. Many of us can probably help you and would certainly like to. JUST ASK ! I've hosted over a dozen swaps and will kick one off toward the end of September as the trout season begins to wind down.
