Yes and no.
I have mentioned my feelings on wax a number of times. I only use it for "touch" dubbing and for seal and some synthetics, I don't like wax because it mats the dubbing and changes the color. In my humble opinion the only wax that I found that I thought was good is the Overton's wax in the green tube.
Back in the "Old Days" before "waxed thread" we used bees wax.
