Del Consider the affect of sunlight shinning through the linelaying in the surface of the water. If you take a piece of large diameter clear mono and float it in a pan of clear water then shine a light on it from above you will see th affect. I believe they are not the best line for a floating line. For sinking lines I feel they are great.
